Evidence based medicine and Critical appraisal study day
This course is run twice a year (Jan/Sept) by Dr Alastair Hay and Dr Sarah Purdy, Consultant Senior Lecturers in Primary Health Care, Academic Unit of Primary Care, University of Bristol.
It covers how to search the literature, critically appraise research and calculate commonly used statistics.
The day is interactive with practical sessions throughout and offers vital preparation for the AKT component of nMRCGP as well as for clinical practice.
